May – Arapaha concept receives grant from Stimulus for an MIT-Zuid feasibility study on the molecular recycling of biobased products.
April – Arapaha concept receives a second GIST grant from Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland on a feasibility study for circular biobased tufted bath mats.

October – Arapaha concept receives a GIST grant from Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland on the recycling of PLA based composites.
August – Arapaha BV is founded by Ekkehart BV & Kiduara BV with the focus on combining designing with advanced biobased materials with circularity and molecular recycling.
March – Ekkehart receives the grant from the EU’s Worth Project Program for the design of a fully recyclable desk lamp.
January – Kiduara BV is founded by Josse Kunst with focus on circularity and molecular recycling.
June – Ekkehart BV is founded by Jörn Behage with focus on designing with advanced biobased materials.
